I accidentally deleted my previous post, so here it is again:

You save and store lint from your clothes dryer in empty toilet paper rolls with folded ends. They make great fire starters.

You stock up on condensed milk because during WWII when food was scarce in the Philippines, your mother told you that she & her family would each take a spoonful of condensed milk and drink plenty of water. It energized them and temporarily gave their stomachs a "full" feeling.

You save orange and/or tangerine peels to burn as a mosquito repellent. Mosquitoes hate the scent of burning citrus peels, but it smells wonderful to humans!

You stock up on clothesline and plenty of clothespins.

You buy extra fabric, sewing needles, and assorted colors of threads for mending, or in case you have to make your own clothes in the future.

You enroll your children and/or grandchildren in Red Cross First Aid Training.

I'm adding this: You buy mice traps because you never know if critters will enter your dwelling after a natural disaster such as an earthquake.

If this was a test in school, I'd make 75. Can't relocate......yet.. When that door opens we're outta here! Then we'd make about a 96.good article... sounds about right!

The women keep squares of reusable flannel for #1 to help stretch the paper TP for everyone’s #2.

You consider keeping up with the laundry as part of your preps.

It no longer surprises your husband to find a silver dollar in an odd place.

9. You’ve purchased duct tape in bulk.

Duct tape does not work well on paper, cardboard or sheet rock.

Apply packing tape and duct tape on top, if needed.

38. You know what? Forget stocking alcohol. You have your own still. You’ll make alcohol.

Too many sources to list from the net and youtube.

It's easier than you think.

Must haves; Sugar, Turbo yeast, clarifying agent, hydrometer.

You can buy complete still kits, but it is fun to build your own.
